1999/08   The university established the Graduate Institute of Biopharmaceutics chaired by professor Wang Hui-Po.

 2000/05   The first class of Masters’ students was admitted.  

2000/10   The name of the Institute was changed to the Graduate Institute of Natural Products.  

2000/10   The Chairman, professor Wang Hui-Po became Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Pharmaceutical Affairs and the Chairman position was taken by associate professor Fang Jai-You.  

2002/08   Professor Yang Chuen-Mao took the Chairman position of the Institute.

2006/08   Porfessor Yat Ming Yung took the the Chairman position of the Institute.

2008/08  Porfessor Jia-You Fang took the the Chairman position of the Institute.

2010/08  The Institute was merged to school of traditional Chinese medicine. 

2010/10  Porfessor Tsong-Long Hwang took the the Chairman position of the Institute.
