1.The Institute focuses on the education of professional talented people in pharmaceutical science who are able to conduct modern research on biopharmaceutics, Chinese herbal medicine, and natural products with the knowledge, experiences, and principles of traditional medicine.

2.The Institute works in coordination with important national research projects for the development of pharmaceutical industry and traditional Chinese medicine to conduct studies of Chinese medicine using modern medical theories and scientific pharmaceutical research methods.
